Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I really didn't notice a good spot for it.

I'm basically a life long BFG/AT/MT tire guy. With a Bronco, Jeep, F-150, and ram 1500 in my past.

About 6 months ago I acquired my first diesel a '99 f350 4x4.

It needs tires desperately.

I had someone mention to me recently that Fords really wear tires better on tires with a continual tread on the inner and out tread lines.

Maybe the similar to the BFG commercial or Rugged Trail ? I have Firestone's right now with continual treads but they stink off of paving.

I use my truck as a daily driver with some occasional towing of a 15k boat and trailer. So size change is not too much of an option for me but I'm more concerned with the tread selection. I do have the truck off road and in 4wd 1-2 times per month over a yearly average.

Are the 350 diesels horrible on BFG AT's ?

Any help, advice or reccs are greatly appreciated....
