Sorry I haven't updated here.
Additional code P0606 was found. Deemed to be PCM fault/failure. More details below.
If it was leaking STC at the pump...it would go lean. From what I understand it would lose oil pressure and go LEAN. Its going rich to the point that it RUNS AWAY(revs to redline uncontrolled) (richly) all on its own.
AND I put the TSB for the STC kit on a while back. Put the new fitting; bracket/gaskets/etc. The original did not fail; I just put the new kit on for preventive maintenance. Truck only has 14k miles; never towed a trailer...def. hasn't had a hard life.
It also repeats; VERY repetitive each time; with shorter and shorter timespans between each occurrence. Last thing it did was a runaway in the dealer service bay. The tech had walked off and I happened to be next to the truck and was able to kill the key. He was within earshot and heard it; said he thought I was revving it....I said nope! She did it all on her own.
Tech wrote Ford through their network; their answer so far is to replace the PCM. Waiting on it to get here and see how it turns out.

Hopefully there won't be another Found On Road Dead situation.
