What rear end does it have? I had a '90 superduty with 5.13 rears that got 10MPG, but it was turning something like 2500RPM at 60 MPH and towing 12'000lbs. I have a friend with a '93 I'll ask.

i used to own an 1985 F-250 with 7.3 IDI from an 1989 and had a 3 speed C6 tranny with 4.10 rear end. got 16mpg without a whole lot of effort. i wasn't to hard on the throttle.

if you see a light at the end of the tunnel, it's probably just a photon torpedo
