6 speed in 92 idi 4wd
Does any one know if the 4wd 6speed will bolt up to my idi to replace my 5speed. Any info would be great.

It can be done....but with lots and lots of fabrication. I know one guy who did it on another site. He had a writeup that was the equivilant to like a 5 page essay. He was a fabricator, so he was up to the challenge. So it can be done, but you will need to do a lot of custom work. He said it would probably only be worth it if you could get the tranny for cheap, or free, otherwise stick to the ZF-5speed.
