Stalling on hard acceleration

i did alot of driving today helping family out because of the damn hurricane that blew threw here this week and my truck died 3 times under hard acceleration i wasnt pullin anything just had a little generator in the back and then some other random stuff but nothing heavy the L tank was dry anybody have any ideas?

Sounds like your lift pump could be going out. When you go WOT....it might not be supplying enough fuel to the IP, so there would be a lack of power.

I changed the fuel filters and everything has been fine since then one was real dirty so I think it was keeping it from getting enough fuel
