89 oil cooler

Does anybody know where I can find a new engine oil cooler other than Ford. Because I took the truck into ford bcuz it was leakin really bad and they said it was the engine oil cooler and they didnt kno whether it was the cap that cracked or the o rings and if its the cap they gotta buy a whole new assembly for 600

and 1400 for part and labor

so tryin to look for one from someone else any help will greatly be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Are you sure your oil cooler is bad? I mean is it cracked where you can see it, or is it just leaking? Its a common problem on these IDI's, and most people just replace the o-rings.

no i havent seen any cracks yet its till on the truck im takin it off tom mayb tom. I hopin its jus o rings

Well, I hope its the O-rings. I've never heard of a cracked oil cooler, its always been the o-rings that were the problem.

well the guy at ford said it might be the cracked cap or oribngs he couldnt see with it on the truck but luckily i didnt see any fro mt the cap
