I have a 1991 f250 that died while I was driving and now will not start, at that exact moment the wait to start light will not come on now I have read the other post in this forum I checked my Fuse box under my left foot they all seemed fine it is cranking normally so I checked where the fuel is going it goes all the way into the Injector Pump but not into the fuel injectors I also hear a single click 2 secs after turning key but it doesnt sound like the glow plugs are turning on I am wondering if a few glow plugs are burned out will it shut off the wait to start light or could it be the PCM where is that located and any help would be appreciated its on the side of the road

glow plugs and the light have nothing to do with each other ,the light may have just burnt out , if you hear the click, the glow plug relay is coming on, bad glow plugs wont cause it to shut off either and the pcm doesnt control any engine functions on that model, if i had to guess, the injection pump took a dump or the lift pump quit pumping , need to see if you have about 6lbs of fuel pressure at the shrader valve by the fuel filter , if so the lift pump took a dump
