Friend's new 91 Ford

A friend of mine just showed up with a 91 diesel F350 crew cab srw auto 4x4 with some Banks stuff on it. What can you guys tell me about it for his info.

02 F350 CC 7.3 PS, auto, 6x6, 4.10 gears LB. AFE stage 2 intake, 4" AFE SS exh, 6.0 atf cooler, DP tuner with five stages Eng Temp gauge, EGT guage and Trans temp gauge. J.Woods valve body ATS turbo housing. Cooling sys filter & waterless coolant. NON WORKING POS FASS fuel filter sys. Brightbox headlites. I don't care what they say "There's no replacement for displacement." Don't believe statements about anything being better than a 7.3

I was told that his 91 has
a Banks turbo with no waste gate
3" down pipe with a 4" exhaust system Muffler delete
Hypermax inter cooler
air intake below the windshield on the cowling.
It has a throttle position sensor on the pump (????)
He has some concerns, they are
At wide open throttle he still has no smoke.
He says that it'll on boost 6 psi under any condition and it drops off quickly
(I told him that sounds like an air leak)
EGTs are never more than 600*
Ideas, comments, suggestions please

In hopes of more information. He's a recovering Cheby man and doesn't know much about what it bought.

he will have to turn the mechanical injector pump up to get more smoke/power. since those trucks where designed to run with out a turbo the after maket ones are set up to give very little boost he may see a little more lbs of boost once he get that baby burning a little fuel.

sounds like air leak on the boost.on my old truck i ran 12 pounds of boost then my buddy messed around with it a bit and got about 22 and what a differense.but good luck fixing it.

might also check for exhaust leaks that will cut your boost numbers down real quick.
