10 miles to the gallon??

1992 f250 7.3 non turbo 4x4 does 10 miles to the gallon sound normal or is there something i can do to get better.i have changed the fuel filter,oil,air filter and been using fuel conditioner

My 91 had horrible fuel mileage until I turned up the fuel pressure. Easy to do.
Turn it up per the instructions found in this section. It should smoke slightly under hard excelleration when you have it right. You should pick up 3-6 mpg or more.

Check the timming... a little off, makes alot a diferance. Find someone that knows these engines and has the right tools. Don't pay for a time-by-ear. Look at the pump to cover marks where the pump mounts. The marks should be close to lined up.
