Cool Help with balancing act..

Happy Holidays to all... so now to the issue... I am in the process of switching out motors on my 92 f-250 with a non turbo IDI in it, had over 400,000 miles on it, so I guess its time to give it a break. My things is, I'm not sure if these motors are internally balanced or externally, since the flywheels are different on each motor and from what I gather, depending on if they are internally or externally balanced may determine which flywheel to use???????

never heard of an externally balanced engine, you need to use the flywheel that came originally in the truck, if you are reusing the clutch thats was in it, the flywheel to me is either a dual mass or not it doesnt have anything to do with the engine being balanced
