1994 7.3 idi with factory turbo??

Looking for some info on a truck my buddy just picked up.

1994 350 cclb, 6/94 build date, 7.3IDI with what looks like a factory turbo, just not sure.

He is looking to get some more hp and tq out of it, nothing crazy, just a solid DD with some extra on the go pedal.

Here are some pics of the turbo and I take...

You could get a factory turbo in 93 and 94
1994 was the only year they offered 3 types of 7.3's naturally aspirated idi turbo idi and the power stroke I've got a 93 with a factory turbo that just rolled over 301 thousnd miles this afternoon and still runs and looks great

got a 91 here dealer installed ats, that underhood air filter will suck in hot air, without a air to air box out front its killing power, they look good tho. ck turbo output if got a gauge, anything over 8lbs without a aftercooler is killing power more, very hot air being blown in by extra boost, adjust that wastegate rod accordingly to open at 8 max.

Just an FYI if you opt to turn up the pump at least put an egt probe in it. I used to have a 94 cclb f350 with a factory turbo. I could get up to 1500* no problem. They're excellent trucks Mine had 425k when I let it go.
