can you put a 10 speed behind a IDI

has anyone put a eaton fuller or a road ranger 9 or 10 speed behind a 7.3 IDI since my wreck i have had lots of time on my hands healing a crushed an broken foot an got to thinking how kool a 10 speed IDI would be i know the tranny is heavy but im not worried about that im thinking a sae #2 BELLHOUSING and a compressor an tank for the high low flipper a lil mod of the tunnel an TADA a f350 10 speed that has the gearing to tow anything would probally never need a clutch ever again an would easily run in peak rpms for optimum engine performance an fuel mileage .....i know it sounds crazy but i have seen vids on youtube with a cummins an a 10 speed so its got to be possible with our trucks ...so anyone know someone who has done it or is like me an thought about it ...or am i just insane

looks like after a few days of looking a RTO6610 with a #2 sae bell housing will fit with lil mod to the tunnel no bods needed if i get a inch or 3 of body lift on the truck ....continuing to search an figure this out
