IDI questions
Hey guys, I just have a simple question for you. How easy would it be to trade an IDI for a cummins or a powerstroke? I'm looking to get into the diesel world, and I have a 99 F150 now that I'm trying to get rid of for some sort of diesel. I got an email from a guy wanting to trade straight across for his 92 F350 7.3 IDI. He said this in his email: "The only thing original is the cab and chassis. Everything else has been replaced with southern parts. The engine is a jasper with less than 50000 miles (according to the previous owner) The tags are very visible."
Is it a good deal? Ultimately, like I said, I want to be in a 12V cummins or a 7.3 Powerstroke...do you think people would be more likely to trade for an IDI, or would it be easier to sell? Thanks guys! |

I don't think the 92 IDI will get you any closer to either than the 99 F-150 will.
