First diesel help

So I am looking for my first truck because I'm 16 and I have always wanted a diesel and I found a 1992 f350 with a 7.3 for $1800. I'm not sure if its a powerstroke or a idi, but guessing by the price it doesn't have a turbo. It has 176,000 miles and according to the ad it needs new batteries and a new driver side fender and a inspection , I can do all the work it needs I am just not sure if its worth buying. Yes it is worth it especially if you can do the work to it. My IDI had 263,000 on it and it was still running strong before i did an engine swop on it.

definatly an idi, but turbo kits are readily available for it tho, not as powerful as a powerstroke, but just as reliable

i love my idi it has 176000 on her and she runs great. and so much cheaper to work on
