glow plug relay wiring?

Hi,new to ps forum.I have a 94 7.3idi turbo that has had issues starting lately,the wait to start light comes on maybe 2 seconds.My so called friend installed a relay but broke one small termenial on the new solenoid.He said he was coming back but no show!I put the old one back on and its smoking.He didnt draw a wire diagram.Can anyone post a pic of there gp relay.I know the white wire goes by itself.Thanks,Bill

the 2 red wires that are together where do they go?

The two heavy gauge wires?

'85 Frame

the two wires are connected together and have a small round connector.Do they go with the single red wire in the pic above.Thanks,Bill

Yes, the short red wire that goes from the solenoid into the controller, there is also another red wire on that terminal that goes to the ignition switch.
