Flywheel problem

has anyone heard of or had there flywheel or torque converter come loose on the idi truck? if so can you describe what i should be lookin for and if it makes a grinding noise at the back of the motor until you rev the engine a little

If the torque converter nuts backed off the torque converter studs, the most likely thing that would happen is that the studs would break off. what kind of noise are you hearing? maybe the bendix on the starter is sticking and grinding on the teeth on the flex plate. just an opinion

the noise sounds like when the fan hits the fan shroud. sounds like a loud grinding, only happens at idle once you hit the gas a little it goes away

no it has that sound the whole time you sit at idle anywhere
