94 IDI Factory Turbo Died While driving

I was cruising at a low speed and I know I was low on gas but I have been lower before and it just died out of nowhere. I quickly switched tanks and began cranking it a couple of tries and it finally fired up but sounded really rough. Like it was running on a couple cylinder or something. It cleared up and I started driving it to the gas station and when I got to the gas station I switched it back to the tank it died on and it ran fine for a couple minutes. I know I didnt run out of gas. I then noticed that my temp was very high, not pegged but to the L on NORMAL. I popped the hood and saw my radiator was a little wet and noticed I heard air coming from the hose clamp going into the radiator. Would that leak at the radiator cause an issue to make it stop running? I always watch my gauges but wasnt the time it died, I was on the phone with work. Could I have overheated it with no signs? I mean it ran fine when I started it back up, I just didnt noticed the temp til I parked it. Then I limped home with it kinda warm. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
