Fuel leak after replacing fuel return caps and hoses

I replaced the fuel return lines and injector caps.Installed new orings and lubed with vasoline. Careful not to cut or chaff any orings. Reinstalled everything with no problems. Bleed the fuel system truck started right up. But some of the injectors are still leaking at some of the return caps. Pretty sure it is not from the fuel line fittings at the injectors. Not sure could there be a problem with the injectors not firing enough fuel thru them causing a excessive amount of fuel return rushing passed the caps. Just got the truck 1989 ford f-250 7.3idi with 140,000 miles it has been sitting for a couple of years. Any help will be great.

i know this post is old but if you haven't figured it out yet, does the fuel filter housing have a line that goes to the return lines on the injectors? Some trucks have it, some don't. If so try plugging it off. It isn't necessary my 94 had it and all i did was install a sealed nipple in the hose. Call me crazy but the truck even ran better. GL with repair
