purchase 94 7.3?

I am new here and am looking at purchasing a 94 (about 200k miles) f350 SRW with a one owner and has kept maintenance meticulously . drained intervals on tranny and differential, TC have been done every 30 k miles and oil at recommended intervals as well. All i need is to pull a horse trailer and was wondering if i could easily get another 100k miles out of it before any work will need to be done ( or should i look at the cummins as well?).
What should i look for when i go to look at it and what questions should i ask?
What are the normal intervals that things break? Like the glow plugs etc.
I know its the original tranny and he has had no problems with it (possibly because of consistent fluid changes. AC has been replaced. Great site.. any suggestions - thanks in advance

Well, first off - WELCOME TO THE .ORG!!

Second - sounds like its taken care of and ready for LOTS more miles -- if it drives good, sounds good, and feels good, I bet it is a good truck to purchase if the price is right..

Thanks... how about what to look for when driving? I was told to make sure 1) the transition between overdrive and drive should be fairly smooth with minimal hesitation, 2) when letting off the brakes the truck should start pulling with a little force instead of feeling sluggish 3) when stepping on the gas from a stop (putting the pedal to the floor or more or less getting on it) - then it should have some power and at least put you back in the seat. 4) make sure it goes through the gears well.
Now- i understand that - but the last ford f350 i drove was sluggish as hell - and the only other diesel i have driven was a cummins and it has some booty... any suggestions? thanks
