If you have a powerstroke diesel with two tanks, you typically need a 6 port valve. Look under your truck at the selector valve. If it has two input tubes and one output tube, you need a 3 port valve. If it has 4 input tubes and 2 output tubes, you need a 6 port valve. On the 6 port valve, you have a fuel tube and a return tube for each tank and a fuel tube and a return tube going to the fuel pump on the engine. Check your existing selection valve.
