New to Ford deisels

Alright here's the deal. I HAVE a 12v cummins that i.love to death.but can't keep a tranny in it. Yesterday I blew my 7th teanny on a transport. Now today I bought an 89 for f350 with the idi 7.3. It was a 5 speed transmission and i was wondering If there's some kind of kit or somethin.g or a way to make that tranny work on my cummins motor.

Yup.

Look at fordcummins.com
or destroked.com

If it is truly a 5 speed, its a ZF-5

I'm going to put the motor in the Ford I think. I'm not sure. It depends on if i can make it look more like a 96 Ford cause i don't like this body. Yea they have the part I need. For the same price that my teanny will cost.
