Fuel line. pump to filter, replace?

I have an 88 ford f350 7.3, I was going to replace my fuel pump on the motor the other night. Where the line goes into the pump the nut is going to twist the line off. Like a brake line. I cant get the line from the ford dealer, or the auto parts stores around here. The international dealer has it for $84. Does anyone know where to get it cheaper? the line runs from the pump up to the fuel filter? Maybe I can make it out of 3/8 brake line?
