newbie needs opinions

hey all, new guy here

im looking at buying a 1992 7.3 non turbo f350
srw 4 door 8 foot box 152,000 miles 5 speed
$800

truck runs, but has a fuel leak allowing air in lines which is making it stall (i think), guy just put about a grand of front end work into the truck (death wobble), new brakes all around, pretty new tires
he says it will not go into 4 wheel drive, says shifter wont move(im hoping it just locked up from not using)
1 of the tanks leaks and is not usable(how much for a new tank)

other than that truck is pretty good for a 92 new york truck, not much rust
he (his wife) wants it gone,

what do you guys think, good deal or be a headache

if the engine is solid i would get it for $800. you would be able to make it back parting it out if need be.

It's worth 800 in scrap metal alone. Definitely a good buy.

A new tank is $200 I believe. I would buy it like they said.

Can you tell where the tank is leaking?
