93 Turbo exhaust down tube

My 93 7.3 idi turbo has a bad down tube and needs a new exhaust. Does anyone have experience in replacing? I have had the truck to two local shops and they don't want to touch it and I have had a hard time finding an exhaust kit for a 93 turbo. Will a PS kit for 94-97 work? Thanks for any info.

I'm dealing with that same dinky 2" outlet, though mine isn't bad yet. It seems ATS has the part we need pretty cheaply, which opens it up to 3". I can't find an ATS site like Banks' though, everything is through sub-retailers. Don't waste your time trying powerstroke stuff- they are totally different. By the way, how's your mileage? When I run bio i go down to like 7 mpg from an already miserable 9-10- no joke! I may as well be running a gasser. check out my "94 mileage help!!" post while you're logged in. It's been like two weeks without even a nibble.

You can make everything from a powerstroke work except fot the downpipe. Try some of our vendors. They should be able to get the part from ATS. Good luck guys!

I have the ATS kit on my truck and really helped.
