Is this a good buy?

I have found a white 94 F250 4x4 extended cab long bed with 200k with a 5 speed for sale. The owner is asking 1400, the truck has a good cab and good interior, new red top batteries and alt.

But there are a few......problems

Needs A.C. Compressor
Needs 2 rear tire(prob get 4 new)
Tranny is finiky about going into revers
And it needs a bed(no bed on truck)

The bed it not a big deal since I want to put a flat bed on it. The truck has been siting for around 4 years getting driven only on rare occasions. Is this a good buy or more trouble than its worth? the AC can wait(summer over) but I dont want to buy a money pit. What do you guys think? Is it worth the money and lovin?

And is there anything besides fluids that I should do if I buy it, maintenance wise for precaution(glow plugs, injectors, u joint, ect) thank

for $1400 and a good running truck why not?!

trans could be an issue... but for that price you could part out good stuff and make just as much, lol.

I'd offer $800 and go from there. A grand would be a pretty sweet deal.

I'd offer 750 with the intention of settling on 1000. Play hardball and you'll thank yourself.

A good running truck is worth a grand all day.
