Electrical Question: Need help

Having trouble with my turn signals on my 90 F250. When I turn on either turn signal, both rear lights flash like the emergency flashers are on. Also, when I push the break pedal in, the lights quit flashing and don't blink either. When I let off the break, they start flashing again. The front turn signals work just fine. Have changed both bulbs and no change. Anybody have suggestions as to where to start with this one? Thanks!

Your turn signal switch maybe??? Because weird things happen, I'm going to throw this out....by chance is your emergency flasher switch on and it's flasher unit not working?

I think the brake pedal / no flash thing is normal on the older trucks. I think my '95 F150 was that way.

No, I've checked it with the emergency flashers both off and on. Plus, my front signal lights work fine. In other words, if my left turn signal light is on, the left front will be blinking, but go around to the rear of the truck and both tail lights are flashing. Its like someone wired something wrong or something.
