92 head removal
I am sure I am not the first to ask this and I am also sure there is a post out there with a really good explanation of this how to.
I have a broken glow plugs. I am looking for a post on how to remove the heads and what all needs to come off the top of the engine. Would really appreciate someone showing me where I can find this info. Thanks |

Which head? Or both?
Intake manifold, accessories (down to the water pump), valve covers. Valvetrain. Exhaust manifolds. Take off the injector lines, perhaps an easier way is to just take the intake manifold off, and take the whole IP off with injector lines still attached (that way you dont have to figure out where each one goes). Then pull the heads. Its fairly straight forward, just takes time, and patience. Buy a lot of zip lock baggies, put in bolts to each specific thing and label each bag. Makes things easier. |
