Cruise control quit working?

I was driving down the road using my cruise control. I had to turn it off when a car pulled out in front of me. Picked up speed again and hit resume and nothing happened. None of it has worked since then. I checked the fuses. Anybody got any ideas what could be wrong?

Cruise control also does not work on my 1993. Any help would be great!

This happened to me on my 89. If you look were your throttle cable connects to the injector the is a black cable that is supposed to clip to the throttle cable. Hope this helps.

my CC doesnt work either.... I havent had a chance to look at it though

That happens to me on my 03 f250 and I think that it was the switch itself on mine though. I didn't get a chance to see the truck got totaled very shortly after. I would start at the switch though. Maybe go to a you pull it junk yard and pick one up for a couple bucks
