92 wait to start light bypass

I have a 92 that I would like to bypass the electronic wait to start light and install a toggle switch to cycle the glow plugs manually. What happened is the wait to start light goes out immediately and the glow plugs are new. A friend told me that it was that electronic pack below the solenoid. Since this is a truck that is used for ranch work and fields would rather just bypass that electronic pack.
thanks
mike
