Question ideal fuel pressure???

need to no ideal fuel pressure on an idi. truck is a 1991 7.3 auto with dual ram air hood scoops straight pipe and water meth injection. when the pump was set a little hotter than stock it held 4-5 psi. the other day he turned it up ~3 turns and it would never get above 3psi so tonight we put a holley blue(110gph) electriclift pump on and regulated it to ~5psi at idle. keeps constant fuel pressure at this setting just curious as to what kind of pressure these trucks like?
