7.3 IDI Fuel Pump Adjustment

So I have a 7.3 IDI. I went to go adjust the fuel pump and just couldnt get the adjusment screw to turn at all. I tried everything. I even cut a allen wrench and stuck it in a socket for maximum torque. Any ideas?

I'm assuming you are talking about the screw on the back of the pump, might be a dumb question but were you able to break the jamb nut free?

Idk what that is honestly. All I did was put the truck in neutral. Un bolt the little plate. Rotate the crank til the allen key screw in the fuel pump was visible. And try to turn it. Am I missing a key point?

I had the same problem when I did mine .. what I did was found an Allen wrench that was long enough for me to place it in the Allen screw in the pump and had enough sticking out of the pump then I grabed a pair of handy dandy vise grips and placed them as close to the side of the pump and tightened the piss out of them and I was finally able to turn it ...... once you've adjusted it once it becomes a little easier
