manual -> auto swap - now shift issue
I am looking at a 89 4x4 7.3L. The current owner replaced the manual transmission with an automatic. Not sure which transmission was used, but he said the transmission has some shift issues.
I know this is vague, but would the auto need a computer to work correctly, or possibly something else. Any help appreciated before I go look at it and decide whether to buy it.
