Road trip

Hi guys, new to this site so would like to say hi.

im going to be buying a 1990 ford f250 7.3 IDI. for $1500 from my moms boyfriend. im stuck with a nissan pathfinder right now and cant really afford anything else and this will do for the time being haha. it has 485,000 KMS on the motor. she runs great. gets great mileage. i drove it for 3 weeks while i was moving because we were moving things slowly and i was getting great mileage. and tows my trailer great. but i am thinking of doing a bit of a road trip from Vancouver to edmonton and then from edmonton to vagerville. so about 1300-1400 KMS from van to edmonton and then about 150 kms to vagerville. im wondering if you guys think the truck should do fine going through the coquihalla since that highway has been known to kill a few vehicles. any input would be great.

I drove my truck 2500 miles from Oregon to Texas.

Just make sure all maintaince items are good to go. Fresh fluids, new belts, spare parts, tools, spare fluids.

Other than that you cant really tell if something will crap out on you, so good luck!
