swap

I just recently bought a 89 f350 daully.It has had a motor a tranny swap done to it.How can I tell if it is idi or powerstroke?I know it is a dumb question but I build guns not motors.Thanks for any help that comes through.

Open the hood. Look at the valve covers, if you see 4 things sticking out near the valve covers, with individual lines going back to the injection pump in the middle of the valley (in between each bank of cylinders), its an IDI. If not, its something else.
