Need Help 1994 IDI
I just had the tranny rebuilt in this truck and now the RPM's show to run extremely high. The engine does not seem to match what is showing on the tach in the truck.
Any suggestions on what this could be? Thanks in advance.

You might want to look at the RPM sensor. It is the big 1 inch nut with two wires coming out of it on the front of the engine next to the oil filler spout. that will cause your tach to give a false rpm reading. I assume you have an auto trans.
