Want to put IDI in 73 F100

I have a 73 F100 with a 360 that is wore out. I have recently came across a complete 1993 F250 with a fresh tranny and 7.3 IDI that i can pick up cheap. I am considering putting the 7.3 in my F100 and I am wondering if anyone has done this, i know ill have to beef up the suspension. Im just wondering if i could get some pointers on somethings i might would have to do and if its really worth the time. I want to swap in the engine and tranny.

it should fit, i know someone put one into a 79 f100. Go over to the idi section of oilburners.net, those guys will know for sure whats involved.
