Frankly, IDI injectors are cheap enough that if you suspect they might not be good, just replace them. $200 for a whole set, and they tend to go 100-150K miles.

i was just wondering...are rebuilt injectors as good as new? i have one leaking and i found a set plus glow plugs and install kit for $300. injectors are remaned...also have a glow plug that is leaking somehow...not sure how it is possible, but when it has diesel on it it bubbles.
thanks for the help. still new to diesels |

The glow plug itself can't leak. The threads around it can.
A glow plug just heats up. The bubbling is probably the diesel heating up. |
