Engine Light on
90 7.3, just driving a couple weeks ago and the engine light came? Good oil pressure temp normal and charging just fine, nothing weird going on with the truck at all. Then the light just went out, now it has started coming on more and more. I have check all fluids and little things, everything looks good. None of the gauges do anything weird when this happens, it also doesn't seem to be rpm related. It will come on and go off at idle or running down the road.
I did notice this morning it turned on and off when I hit some railroad tracks? Anyhow it seems like it would be a sensor grounding or some kind of wiring issue being that nothing unusual is happening, it's the little red light that is in the shape of an engine to the left of the wheel. To be honest I didn't even know the truck had a check engine light on until the other week.
Oh yeah non turbo completely stock, with 280,000 any ideas
