7.3 IDI trans?
Hey guys I need to rebuild the trransmission in my 89 7.3 IDI non-turbo. On the door it has a K under transmission. My question is, is that an E4OD or some other transmission?

I think that is the first year for the E4OD. I would have to check on that monday.

ill make it easy for ya, if it has 3 gears it is a C6.
If it has 4 gears, it is an Electronic 4-speed with Over Drive.

if it is a C6 it is about a 500 dollar rebuild.
An E4OD will be about 2000 dollars or more...
