Tachometer acting up
My tach is acting up. At idle it does not work. When i drive sometimes it does not work. Do i need to replace it or can i fix it. Also i would like to change leaf springs from 3/4 to 1 ton. can i do this without breaking the bank? It is a 93 F250 4x4 7.3 turbo.

The tachometer sensors are known for going bad. You should clean it or if that doesnt woek replace it.
