7.3 motor SWAP

i hope im posting this in the right section. i have a 82 f350. friend of mine is taking his 7.3 out of his 94 and i plan on swapping it in to my 82 gasser. how hard is this gunna be to do? thanks guys

well that depends. what tranny is in the gasser?? C6 rightt??? it may work but i dunno. also you'll probably need motor mounts..and 7.3's(well i dunno bout the idi but the PSD is heavyyyyyyyy) so your suspension might not like to hold up the front well.

Big block, or small block gasser? Motor mounts are the same if its a big block. For ease of swap, a diesel trans should be used.

my 82 has a 351w with a c6. my buddy is giving me the motor mounts and transmission. what else should i need? doesnt seem like there is much to these idi motors? if its too big of a project ill wait. but a lot of the stuff he wont be using because he is installing a cummins
