89 f250 7.3 4x4 ?

i have a 89 f250 with a 7.3 idi and it dont want to start up unless its just been ran if i let it sit for more than 30 min anfter it was running doesnt like to start back up ive changed glow plugs pulled them all to make sure they are working and checked all the wires to make sure they are getting power so i know they are getting hot but doesnt seem to want to start any help would be appreciated thanks

I'd make sure you don't have a fuel leak somewhere. Mine did sort of the same thing but it had to sit overnight before it would be hard to start. I had a leak at the fuel heater on the fuel filter.

Yup a common problem with these IDI's are the return lines. They are the little rubber lines between each injector. You can buy a return line kit for like $30, cut the hose to length, new o-rings on the injectors, put the new return line caps on, and away you go (not in that order ).
