94 250 IDI 7.3 turbo

Hello all. I'm about to pick up my first 7.3 94 F250 in a few hrs. The truck has 130,000 miles on it. I have a few questions. What can I do to the air filter housing. Looks a little big. I like my friends F250 with the PS 7.3. It has a meter on it telling him when to change it. Or if I could get an cold air / air intake for it. I hate K N filters. I had one in my 85 MB 300SD and it blew out the turbo. I also, what kind of miles per gal. will i get with it. Its an extended cab and a 8foot bed. Big sucker. I fell in love with it when I saw it. A must. Also, filter changing. Are they the same as the PS. Thanks.
Robert

it takes a 45* 4inch exhaust tubing, 4 inch exhaust clamp or intercooler boot, Napa 6337 ( I think) Air filter, 5inch or bigger hose clamp, that about covers it however its only for 7.3 powerstrokes
