I hate to ask...but
I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I can't find any info on it. I recently blew my motor and in my search for an IDI in my area I have found a couple but not sure if I trust them. My friend's boss has a rebuilt Powerstroke and will give me the WHOLE van for $1200(can) Is it WAY too much work to convert to a powerstroke?
Starting to really miss my truck ![]()

Thats a steal and with a whole entire van you can put the entire wiring harness in your truck and convert it all.

yeah like it sounds easy to type it but I'd like to see if someone has actually done it. I'd rather do a 12v swap but this might be a little smarter...I dunno

what year powerstroke is the van?
our body styles never came with a intercooler from the factory if its 99 and up that would be something else that you would need to work into the engine bay of the truck as well |

I'm not sure what year it is. Honestly though, the intercooler and plumbing are the least of my concern haha. That's not difficult. I'm jsut more worried about all the wiring really... and can I use my existing fuel tanks, is there lift pumps in the newer trucks...man I hate asking stupid newb questions but I really have no idea.
