Is this 88' a good buy?

Hey guys, my dad and I are looking at this 1988 F-350 2x4 T-tag. It's got 111k mi, new glow plugs and injectors. It's an older guy that has it and he said he's taken care of it. It was an old township truck he said. It looks in good shape from the pictures and we will probably take a look at it by this friday. I don't know anything about pre-powerstroke ford diesels, and we have only had cummins trucks but we aren't to picky, just what we've had. The guy wants $4,800....what do you think?

Sounds a little high, but that dump bed, and the low miles are great! Offer the guy4k cash, after seeing it in person to actually be able to tell if the guy took care of it like he said. I don't know what to look for, except the normal stuff

Thanks. I too thought it might be a bit high but with the dump bed on it, I really have no idea.
