injection pump?

my buddy has a 93 idi question is how do you turn up the pump on these things?? thanx.

Side of the injection pump (passenger side), there is a triangular black plastic cover with 3 small bolts. Take out two, and loosen the other (hard to get it started, easy to just swing the plate out of the way). Have someone under the truck and rotate the engine by hand with a wrench on the harmonic dampener. Look inside the cover with a miror until you see an allen head come in view. Take a NEW HIGH QUALITY 5/32" allen wrench, not an old one, no rust or dust can fall in the IP, and go clockwise. A little goes a long ways.

Before doing this tell me he has a pyro though...right?

i told him everything. and that he should have one. if be blows it up i wont be surprised lol. hes got a couple idi's and an old 12 valve that has a rear main leak it gets everywhere lol.
he has a dairy and a bunch of trucks..
