99 Turbo on a 92IDI??

I am trying to get a little more umph out of my 92 and my buddy just came across a good 99 turbo. Does anyone know if this can be modified to fit onto a old 7.3L IDI? All help is appreciated!

you can do it, just a question of how many headaches do you want. just remember to figure a way to supply oil to your turbo. don't let to much boost get to the engine, Ford/IH didn't take that into account when they built that engine. a former roommate of mine had a rig like that, about 8 psi was red line.

i would do it. i would end up keeping the vehicle for several years to justify the money/time spent setting it up.
