I think you are right. He is looking at a 89 F350 dual wheel flatbed 4x4 5 spd. It has 120,000 and appears to be in great shape. They are asking $5,800. Seems high to me but I don't know. I was thinking more around $4,000 any body have ideas what it's worth?

1987 was the first year of the newer body style and the last year of the
6.9L. 1988 was the first year with the 7.3 idi n/a and o/d trannies.

i owned an 87 8 years ago. The original owner swapped the 6.9 when it cavved to a 7.3l. I think the rated hp difference was 10 hp(175 hp for the 6.9 and 185 hp for the 7.3 idi n/a)

If he doesn't want it let me know!

I think $5000 would be a good price, if it is in good shape.

Well he bought it for $5200 and the previous owner is going to paint it for him. He's going to put it to use in a lawncare business so he will quickly see how could of an old truck it is.
