white smoke
I have a 7.3l IDI in an F350, '92.
Engine starts & runs normally. When I accelerate to highway speed, then slowly roll my foot off the accelerator, so it is neither powering nor coasting, bucketloads of white smoke leave the pipe. Adding or subtracting power causes the smoke to stop. I am turning into a public nuisance! |

Noticed this with my truck as well.
The way i see it basically, theres no load on the engine, but you are still giving it air and fuel, the white smoke is from unburnt fuel. I notice it most going down slight hills. |

I just hope it's not coolant.
