cottmans transmissions

i just had a rebuilt tranny put in my 2001 f-350 in january of this year. it is now slipping and gets hot around town between 200 and 210 degrees then it starts slipping. it grabs and slips grabs and slips . my mom just sent me an e-mail she found on craigs list talking about how they are screwing employees and customers. it say they are puting in used t.c and painting them black. i guess thats what i got. i will not ever have them do my trannys after they replace it agian. this is just a friendly warning to every one to stay away form cottmans.

Cottmans Transmissions

Sorry to hear your having issues.
The large trans shops, tend to build to factory specs which is not suffient for the HP and torque our engines can produce.Add big tires ,tow,or race once in a while, these units will not hold up.
Your best chose is to get a custom built unit that is designed for our applications.
